New pump is loaded to the pallet. |

Loose parts on the pump are tidied up so that there is no obstruction to the camera in capturing images of the various regions of the pump. |

The pump is then fed to the standby buffer position by pressing a button. |

Inspection Process
|
The XY slide will move the camera to predefined positions to locate the targets to be inspected. |

|
The camera will zoom and focus on these targets. The images are captured and analysed for correctness. |
| |
|
In this movie clip, the side and top cameras are used, together with a rotary table to cover the required inspection surfaces. |
| |
|
The product is transferred to the next inspection position if the bottom surface is required to be inspected. The bottom camera will be used. If there is no such requirement, the product will by-pass and go to the unloading position. |

Segregation Of Passed/ Failed Products
|
Products that have passed all the required inspections will be transported to be unloading position as shown in the movie clip. |

If the product has failed any one of inspections, a buzzer will sound to alert the operator. The operator will have to retrieve the pump manually from that inspection position that has failed the product. |
| |
|
This is to segregate the failed ones from those that have passed. |

The system is designed to cater for multiple type of product. |

In the previous movie clips, a large pump was shown. In this movie clip, a small pump is inspected. |

The only difference is the supporting jig on the conveyer pallet to hold the product. |
